PACER Training
Are you new to PACER and want to see what it is all about? Perhaps you are an experienced user and want to hone your skills or explore new options. The Judiciary has launched a new PACER training site where current and future users can learn how to use PACER. You don't have to register, and there is no charge for accessing this training area. The site includes data from real cases filed in the New York Western District Court between 1/1/2007 and 7/1/2007 so users can get a feel for the type of case data and documents available through PACER. Please use the link below to get started.
For your convenience a "training" login and password are posted on the Welcome Page or you can use your own login and password. Once you have accessed the training site and have successfully logged in, please direct your attention to the "Read This to Get Started" page. We recommend opening the instructions in a separate window by clicking on the link located below the court seal.
Alternatively, you can have Ms. Gavel and Mr. Sound Block take you through a video tour of PACER. Please use the link below to see the selection of video tutorials currently available.
